This katana has all the features of a handmade except the high cost. The guard and sword design is accurate to the Rurouni Kenshin anime series. The blade is thick carbon steel with sharpened reverse edge. High quality guard, black lacquered scabbard, real ray skin and cotton wrapped handle and its double pegged (Full Tang). Can be disassembled for care.

Story of the Reverse Blade Sword
A former Imperialist assassin, Kenshin grieves for the lives he has taken. He vowed to never kill again, and traded in his katana and wakizashi for a reverse-bladed sword. Also known as sakabato, the reverse blade sword was given to Kenshin by a master sword smith named Shakku.
